The Golden Horns (TGH) is a modern horn quartet. The group with historical instruments has searched and found loop-holes in the middle of categorizations and preconceptions. TGH´s members are full-time musicians in the Helsinki metropolitan area symphony orchestras, but playing in a four-person band is for all members a creative escape from the harsh world of classical music.

Before making the first album, the band has played together for five years. Those five years have included appearances in big music festivals and as a soloist of a symphony orchestra, a 13 concert tour in Germany, workshops for young people around Finland and numerous club nights as well as own concerts and gigs.

The force behind bands activity comes from own arrangements and compositions, subscribed work as well as immediate and warm contact with the audience - and, of course, a bottomless love for music, some towards each others of course, but first and foremost for ourselves and for our unique band!
